Affiliate and advertising disclosure

How AgentFocus makes money and how we label it.

Last updated: 18 October 2026.

AgentFocus is free to read. Over time, we plan to fund it in three ways: affiliate links, sponsorships and our own paid products. Here's how we label each, so you can always tell when we might earn money.

How we label paid content

  • Affiliate links. If we might earn a commission when you buy through a link, the link is marked Ad, right next to it. You don't pay any more because of it.
  • Sponsored newsletter sections and sponsored listings. These are marked Ad at the top of the section, before you read it, and name the sponsor.
  • Free products or trials from vendors. If a vendor gives us free access beyond its normal free plan, we say so on the page.
  • Our own products, if we sell any, are clearly presented as ours.

What money never changes

  • Nobody can pay to change a score, a ranking, or a "who it's NOT for" note.
  • Sponsors don't see or approve our editorial copy before it's published.
  • If a tool that pays us gets worse, we'll say so.

Where we stand today

At the time of writing, we have no affiliate or sponsor relationships, so nothing on AgentFocus is paid for. When that changes, we'll update this page and label each item as above.

The rules we follow

We follow the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code), including the rule that marketing must be obviously identifiable as marketing, and ASA guidance on labelling affiliate and sponsored content. We also follow consumer protection law on hidden advertising. Questions? Email hello@etty.ai.
